My name is Brandon and I recently joined First Christian Church after serving churches in Oklahoma and New Mexico. I was, born and raised in Iowa, but love living in Southern California. I received a BA in Religion and History from Transylvania University and a Master of Divinity from Yale University Divinity School. I look forward to working with FCC Burbank to strengthen our partnerships with community-based organizations, while affirming God’s universal love. When I’m not at church you will find me running, hiking, or traveling.

My name is Miseon Choi, the Director of Youth Ministries at FCCB and Saegil Christian Church and I was born in South Korea. My education includes a BA from Hanshin University in Korea, which has a liberal inclination, and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. I completed my PhD in Practical Theology, Spiritual Formation, and Religious Education at the Claremont School of Theology. The title of my dissertation is "Transformative Religious Education through Postcolonial and Narrative Pedagogical Perspectives." I look forward to walking with FCCB on this faith journey as we seek a better life, a better community, a better society, and a better world. My pastimes include traveling, walking, eating good food, watching dramas and movies, and hanging out with my friends and family.

I am Zachary Harris, the Director of Music Ministries at First Christian’s Church of Burbank.
I grew up in Kempton, Indiana and have made Burbank my home since 2009. Before receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Ball State University, I spent many years participating in an incredible worship band at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Kokomo, IN. That’s where I first learned how to play and collaborate with a band as a singer, guitarist, and bass player.

I have a deep appreciation and reverence for the subtle sway music can have on us- especially combined in a spiritual setting.
I am excited to continue our worship team’s vision as we incorporate theologically progressive music from diverse voices into our service. I feel lucky to have found such a great community to be included and serve in.

I’m Janine, the Office Administrator & Wedding Coordinator for FCCB. In addition to  my work with FCCB, I also manage the office for a UCC church in Northridge and freelance as an event planner and database manager. I have a passion for event planning, traveling, wine, cooking, outdoors and music.

I’m Justin, the Sound Tech at FCCB. I hold a degree in Mass Comm./Broadcasting and a certificate in Recording Engineering and Music Production. During the week, I work as a TV Producer, and my hobbies include photography and exploring the world.

I am Marina Melikian, the Worship Pianist at FCCB. I have attended FCCB since 2009 and my 2 daughters grew up in the Sunday School. I was born and raised in Armenia in a family of pianists. I graduated from Yerevan State Conservatory and hold a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Composition. Besides my work as Service Accompanist at FCCB, I work as a Music and Piano Teacher at Victory Montessori Schools. During my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking and inviting people to our house for dinner.

I am Nellie Rafaelian and I work with the kids in Sunday School! I grew up in this church as a little girl in 2009. I am grateful to have the opportunity to teach the children about the Bible in Sunday School every week! I am currently attending college to pursue my studies in Anthropology to become a Lawyer. I am responsible, diligent, and strive to be the best version of myself. I enjoy traveling, dancing, eating good food, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
